Hello, my name is Bjorn Ventris, and I am a relationship and psychosexual therapist based in London. My pronouns are he/him.
I am fully qualified and a registered member of COSRT, which means that I adhere to the COSRT code of ethics and practices. I also draw on my experience as a human being, partner, parent and a second career as a filmmaker and director of photography. If you are interested, you can see some of my film work here – www.ventris.tv |
My therapeutic approach is integrative, and I use ideas from humanistic, existential, attachment theory and imago therapy amongst others. Having a range of approaches to draw on means I am able to tailor the therapy to you. Every individual and couple have unique issues and I work to adapt my approach to what works for you.
You are the expert on you and your relationships, and my aim is to support you to take on your own problems. In therapy we will work collaboratively to explore unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour and seek to uncover what may lie behind them. With that increased awareness you then have the choice to do something different, and in time lead a happier and more fulfilled life.

I welcome and enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds, genders, ages, sexualities, ethnicities, disabilities and neurodiversities, as I find that I learn a great deal from hearing every clients unique experience.
The therapeutic relationship, i.e. the relationship between you and your therapist, is the most important factor in successful therapy, so it is important you find someone you can trust and relate to. I think the best way to see if that’s me is to have an initial free 20 minute consultation. You can book one by emailing me here to arrange a convenient time.
